What every AKCalc calculator result is, and what it is not
Every calculator on AKCalc produces an informational estimate — not an official determination.
Results are based on official government publications, legislation, and regulatory schedules. They are not a substitute for a determination by your employer's payroll system, your country's tax authority, or a qualified professional advisor licensed in your jurisdiction. Your actual tax liability, net pay, or entitlement may differ from the estimated result for reasons specific to your individual circumstances.
This disclaimer applies to every calculator published on akcalc.online. Jurisdiction-specific calculators follow below. By using any calculator on this site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer.

AKCalc calculators are not:
Results should be used as a starting point for understanding — not as the basis for a legal claim, a formal payroll submission, or a tax filing.
Even a correctly implemented calculator may produce a result that differs from your paylip, tax notice, or official determination. Common reasons include:
Every calculator page includes a scope statement defining exactly what it covers and what it does not. Read the scope statement before relying on any result.
US federal income tax and payroll calculators are based on IRS publications in effect for the stated tax year. They do not constitute an official withholding determination. For payroll compliance purposes, employers must use the withholding method specified in IRS Publication 15-T and the employee's completed Form W-4. AKCalc calculators are for planning estimation only — not for processing actual payroll.
US state income tax calculators model standard withholding for a single employer, full-year resident scenario. They do not account for: local income taxes (where applicable), reciprocal state agreements, part-year resident rules, or non-standard withholding elections. For formal withholding purposes, consult the official withholding instructions published by the relevant state tax authority.
Results produced by AKCalc calculators are not a substitute for a determination by the IRS, a state department of revenue, or a licensed tax professional. For tax filing, use your official Form W-2 and the applicable IRS or state filing instructions, or consult a qualified tax advisor.
German Lohnsteuer (payroll tax) calculators are based on the official Bundesministerium der Finanzen (BMF) Lohnsteuer Programmablaufplan (PAP) for the stated year. Results are estimates of Lohnsteuer withholding computed using the annual method. They do not include:
Social insurance contribution results are based on published GKV-Spitzenverband and Deutsche Rentenversicherung rates and Beitragsbemessungsgrenzen. Your actual contributions may differ depending on your Krankenkasse (health insurer), Zusatzbeitrag (supplementary premium), and employment type. For authoritative payroll processing, use the official ELSTER system or a licensed Steuerberater.
Romanian income tax and social contribution calculators are based on the Codul Fiscal (Tax Code) as published in the Monitorul Oficial for the stated year. Results do not account for:
For formal payroll processing in Romania, consult a licensed central labor authority or ANAF guidance applicable to your specific employment category.
Polish income tax and ZUS contribution calculators are based on the Ustawa PIT and ZUS published rates for the stated year. Results do not account for:
For formal payroll processing in Poland, consult a licensed doradca podatkowy or Księgowy with knowledge of your specific employment circumstances.
End-of-service gratuity calculators for UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain are based on the official Labor Law of each country. Results are estimates under the standard provisions. They may differ from your actual entitlement if:
Before submitting a formal gratuity claim, verify the current effective law with the relevant Ministry of Human Resources or equivalent authority, and review your specific employment contract and company HR policy.
Calculators covering US expatriate tax (FEE, Foreign Tax Credit, Social Security Totalization), non-resident withholding, or cross-border income allocation are based on applicable IRS publications and, where relevant, official tax treaty text as published by the US Treasury. Cross-border and expat tax situations are among the most individually complex in tax law. Results are orientation estimates only.
Cross-border calculators do not account for: tax treaty elections that require formal filing, state-level treatment of foreign income (which varies significantly), exit tax implications, FBAR or FATCA reporting obligations, or foreign country-side tax liability. For any situation involving taxation in more than one jurisdiction, consulting a licensed international tax professional is strongly recommended.
